The plan for the mentee: 1. Write the goal in Toastmasters. 2. Write the goal for the duration of your mentoring - and make it measurable. 3. Set a progress checkpoint for each month, so that at every future mentoring meeting, you will be able to evaluate the progress.
If you want to make your mentee happy, don't make the same mistake. At the first meeting, tell them what the rules are.
Becoming a desired mentor is excellent. Is enthusiasm enough? How do you know if I am helping- proof, not promises. Is it okay to be picky?
