Use your voice to assign your proxies – During the Annual Business Meeting on the last day of the Toastmasters International Convention in August, clubs vote to elect international officers and directors to the Current Board of Directors. All clubs (Presidents and Secretaries) received an e-mail containing proxy information explaining how to vote for someone else if you are not attending the international convention. They must log on to the Toastmasters International website to specify how the club will cast its two votes.
Clubs have three options:
- Send a delegate to the Annual Business Meeting
- Designate its district director as its proxy holder
- Designate an active Toastmaster from another club as its proxy holder
