District 109 and Coronavirus – We are Toastmasters and will not be stopped by anything, not even the Coronavirus! The ongoing Coronavirus pandemic has created many challenges for clubs and individuals worldwide. Do you know that Toastmasters International has allowed European clubs to hold online meetings during this period (see message)? As Toastmasters, we are committed to developing our communication and leadership skills, no matter what obstacles come our way. Suppose your club has decided not to hold in-person meetings due to health concerns.
In that case, we want you to know that Toastmasters International has authorized European clubs to hold online meetings during this period. This means you can continue participating in meetings and working towards your goals, even if you cannot meet in person. We also want you to know that District 109 fully supports you in running online meetings. If you need any support or guidance, please let your local Area Director know, and we will do our best to assist you. We want to ensure you have all the tools and resources you need to continue learning and growing as a Toastmaster, even during these challenging times. Remember, as a member of Toastmasters, you are part of a global community dedicated to helping each other succeed. Let’s continue supporting each other, staying connected, and working towards our goals, no matter our challenges. Together, we can overcome anything!
